TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

Weightlifting Online is committed to protecting any personal information you disclose. Below, any references to ‘we’ or ‘us’ means Weightlifting Online, this page outlines the terms and conditions of membership, as well as how and why we collect personal information, and how it is used.

CONSENT:

By agreeing to the terms of service, consent shall been authorised in regard to the member for the following:
    • Participation and training in the sport of weightlifting and associated activities within their own club or training venue
    • Safety requirements, such as spotting, use of collars on barbells, must be utilised during training.
    • You agree that your training is entirely at your own risk and that Weightlifting Online and any of its service providors are released from liability for any incident, accident or injury sustained while performing the training associated with any of the products or subscriptions on this site.

SUBSCRIPTION BASED MEMBERSHIP:

By selecting and opting in to a paid subscription, your user account becomes eligible for all benefits associated with your account type, including full access to all membership perks associated with your account, such as coaching database, expert coaching, training etc. You also agree to the following in terms of payment and cancellation. Payments: By signing up to a paid membership you;
  • Are entering into an automatic monthly recurring payment, which is securely processed each month via paypal.
  • Payments cover access to all membership related benefits within the calendar month for which they are paid.
Cancellation: Membership is a subscription based recurring secure electronic card payment, and not a direct debit.
  • Membership is fully under account holder control and can be cancelled by:
    • Logging in to your membership page via our website, and clicking the cancellation button. This is an immediate cancellation method, and will prevent further payments being taken.
    • or Contacting us directly in writing, if you have any difficulties, and requesting a cancellation by one of our admin team. While we’re always happy to take a phone call, we do need written evidence for cancellation requests. This can be any form of electronic communication offered by us, such as email, text, or messenger based app (eg: whatsapp, android messenger)
  • As each subscriber has full control of their subscription, no cancellations will be backdated to a time prior to their action by the user, or the 1st day of the following month if requested to the admin team.
  • You can not attempt to cancel this via your bank in lieu of the cancellation steps set out above, as it will likely be unsuccessful, and cannot be cause for a refund if payments continue.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA:

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

If you are unhappy with our work or something that we have done or failed to do, please inform us in writing. We will acknowledge receipt of all complaints and will endeavour to investigate the complaint within 15 working days, in line with our complaints policy.
